Tillandsia secunda is a widespread spacies that grows at elevations of 2000-3500 meters in Ecuador. Growing to 30-60cm the frosted green leaves grow into a lovely rosette shape. The Tillandsia secunda will produce a hot pink infloresence and it will bloom numberous, viviparous offsets that develop on the same dorsal side of the infloresence.
