Dendrobium lindleyi (formerly known as D. aggregatum var. majus, a name still widely used) is a compact epiphytic orchid native to the deciduous mountain forests of Southeast Asia — from northeast India through Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and southern China. The var. majus distinction denotes a larger, more floriferous form, and the 'Goldilocks' clone is selected for its exceptional colour and flower count.

Growing Notes
This species thrives with a distinct dry, cool rest period in winter to trigger flowering — mimicking its natural deciduous forest habitat. It rewards growers who let it dry between waterings and give it plenty of bright, indirect light. A great choice for intermediate to experienced orchid growers.
