Bulbophyllum allenkerrii

Found in Laos and Thailand at elevations around 1300 meters as a cool growing epiphyte that has 4 angled pseudobulbs, the newer with sheaths covering the base to the leaf stem, carrying a single, apical, strong-veined, short-stalked, elliptical, leathery leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, 7 cm long inflorescence with a floral bract that begins to cover a dense head of simultaneously opening, short-lived [3 days] flowers held at mid-leaf height.

This is a mature division of a species Bulbophyllum that has flowered last season, it will be sent barerooted with the roots wrapped in Sphagnum moss.
