Alocasia wentii is a hardy and easy-to-grow elephant ear that was first described in 1916, the true Alocasia wentii has only recently become known in horticultural circles. From the remote mountains of New Guinea, Alocasia wentii is quite cold tolerant. The glossy bronze-green leaves reach 30cm in length as they adorn this tightly clumping elephant ear. As the breeze blows, you will enjoy the contrasting metallic-purple leaf backs.
