Miltoniopsis Rubenesque 'Brockton'

Miltoniopsis Rubenesque ‘Brockton’ features richly coloured, pansy-shaped blooms with magenta-purple petals fading to soft lavender and white edges. A broad, gently ruffled lip is washed with lavender-pink and framed in white, with a dramatic deep-burgundy starburst beneath the small yellow centre. Fine white markings around the centre add another layer of intricate detail.

Available in 75mm and 100mm pot sizes, subject to availability. Plants are supplied not in flower. Flower images are provided for reference only to illustrate the variety’s blooms.

Miltoniopsis Orchid Care: Miltoniopsis, commonly known as Pansy Orchids, prefer cool to intermediate temperatures, bright filtered light and good air circulation. Keep them out of direct sunlight and protect them from excessive summer heat, particularly in Queensland.

These orchids enjoy consistent moisture and should never be allowed to dry out completely but avoid keeping the potting mix waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the mix begins to approach dryness and ensure the pot drains freely.

Miltoniopsis thrive in moderate to high humidity and benefit from regular applications of a balanced orchid fertiliser at a diluted strength during active growth. Their fine root systems are sensitive to salt build-up, so flush the potting mix regularly with fresh water.
