Miltoniopsis Up Country Puna 'Kea'au Star'

Miltoniopsis Up Country Puna 'Kea'au Star' has an AM from the American Orchid Society. These are mericlones of Miltoniopsis Up Country Puna 'Keaau Star' AM/AOS, registered in 2008. These plants will produce lovely white flowers with a little yellow / red in the center. The award winner had a natural spread of 10.9 cm and was 11 cm long. It had 4 flowers and 13 buds on 3 inflorescences. The breeding is Miltoniopsis Lynne Waihee x Miltoniopsis Stacy. They sometimes bloom in the autumn, but spring is the main blooming season. Miltoniopsis orchids are cool growers. Often called "The Pansy Orchid," many of them have a wonderful fresh fragrance.
