Brascidostele Gilded Tower 'Mystic Maze'

Brascidostele Gilded Tower 'Mystic Maze' was originally registered as a Banfieldara (Ada x Brassia x Odontoglossum) with the lumping of Odontoglossum sensu stricto into Oncidium, the removal of the Odontoglossum skinneri complex to Rhynchostele, and the lumping of Ada into Brassia, it is now a Brascidostele. Each growth can produce 1-2 inflorescences.  Expect inflorescences to be 75 – 90 cm tall.  Each inflorescence can carry 10-15 flowers each.  Individual flowers are 6 – 7 cm across and 10 – 11 cm tall.  Sepals and petals are yellow-gold with the basal ¼ - ½ heavily blotched dark brown, sometimes being almost solid.  The labellum is yellow heavily spotted red. Plants grow typically as other Oncidinae.  Less light than Cattleya and also requiring some drying between watering.
