Eria hyacinthoides is a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte found in the Malaysian penninsula, Sumatra and Java at elevations of 500 to 1700 meters with clustered, oblong, basally sheathed pseudobulbs carrying narrowly lanceolate, petiolate leaves that are held in pairs towards the apex that blooms in the spring on up to 2, erect, white fuzzy, shorter to 25 cm, loosely many [20 to 40] flowered, racemose inflorescence with many fragrant [not nice] flowers.
