Bulbophyllum pardalotum is found in the Philippines at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with to 4 cm between each, ovoid to tetragonal pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect to suberect, leathery, ovate to narrowly oblong, obtuse, subpetiolate base leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on an erect, basal, 4 to 9 cm long, filiform, slightly longer than the leaf, single flowered inflorescence carrying resupinate flower that opens each morning and closes each night and lasts for about 10 days.
