Bulbophyllum lingii

Bulbophyllum lingii is a miniature orchid species native to the montane rainforests of Hainan Province, China. It was first formally described in 2020 and belongs to the Bulbophyllum genus within the Malaxideae subtribe of the Epidendroideae subfamily. This orchid is very small, making it perfect for terrariums where space and humidity can be carefully controlled.

Bulbophyllum lingii is characterized by its small, creeping growth habit and distinctive flowers. The flowers feature oblong petals with recurved margins, a glabrous adaxial surface on the upper part, and a stigma with a distinct basal callus. The lip margins are recurved from the base of the side-lobes to the tip.
