Bulbophyllum lasianthum (Rare)

Bulbophyllum lasianthum is found in Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Malaysia in lowland and lower montane forests at elevations of sea-level to 1200 meters in moist shady forests on trees and rocks as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with 10 to 15 cm between each, slightly flattened, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptical, bluntly pointed, conduplicate below leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, stout, 10 to 44 cm long, basally enveloped by numerous acuminate sheaths, to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying foul-smelling, not opening well flowers.

Very similar to B. adelphidium but this one differs in the longer inflorescence, laxer raceme and larger flowers
