Steriliser for Secatures

Mix 10g or 2 teaspoons to 200ml of water.

Mixing with hot water obtains maximum solubility.

 

TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE – Anhydrous Na₃PO₄

 

To sterilise cutters/secateurs when cutting plant material. Use prepared solution until it becomes cloudy, then discard. Store powder in a dry, seal top plastic container to minimise clumping of powder. Always use a dry spoon to decant powder. Store prepared solution in a plastic container. Do not use a P.E.T. container as P.E.T. will stress crack and leak. ( P.E.T. containers are used for food or drinks and are mostly clear or opaque). NOTE : Trisodium Phosphate will corrode aluminium.

 

FOR YOUR SAFETY

THIS PRODUCT IS STRONGLY ALKALINE; avoid contact with skin and eyes. If conbtact does occur, follow relevant first-aid instructions.

IF SWALLOWED: seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting; give plenty of water.

EYE CONTACT: Hold eyelid open and wash with water continuously for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
